Job summary

Banana Republic is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and lead the team in delivering a best-in-class customer experience. You will drive profitable sales growth through customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development, partnering with store leadership to coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates.

You will train and coach a high-performing team, execute the store strategy, and collaborate to achieve performance goals while promoting community

Qualifications

• Must have 1-3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and maneuver on the sales floor.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and profitability through customer focus and operations.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and monitor the retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
