Job summary

Banana Republic is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone in-store, drive profitable sales, and lead a high-performing team. You will coach Leads, Experts, and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience and execute store strategy with GM/AGM collaboration.

You will oversee customer operations, merchandising, and talent development, ensuring SOPs are followed, while leveraging omni-channel tools to meet performance goals and stay ahead of the competition.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and team.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Driven by metrics to meet business goals.
• Ability to lead and mentor others.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, overnights and weekends.
• Able to utilize retail technology.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and profitability through customer and product operations, merchandising and talent development.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand the retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
