Job summary

Banana Republic is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone, drive profitable sales, and coach a high-performing team. You will manage customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development to deliver a best-in-class experience for shoppers.

You will collaborate with the General Manager to coach Leads and Brand Associates, ensure standard operating procedures are followed, and leverage omni-channel tools to create a seamless customer journey across channels.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good communication skills with customers and team.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and data-driven.
• Willing to work flexible hours including holidays/evenings/weekends.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies to drive store sales with a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility and drive productivity.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of SOPs.
• Represent the Banana Republic brand and monitor retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement and omni-channel experience.
• Ensure compliance with standards.
