Job summary

At Home in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Store Manager to oversee all operational, financial, and team functions within a large-format retail store. The role drives business performance by developing high-performing teams, executing operational excellence, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will lead by example, manage staffing and payroll to align with business needs, and use the store scorecard to guide strategy and improve loyalty and credit performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a big-box and/or high-volume retail environment.
• Proven experience leading teams of 20+ Team Members and managing a minimum of $5M in annual revenue or budget.
• Customer-focused mindset with a track record of delivering exceptional in-store experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Experience utilizing HRIS and workforce scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of store operations to achieve sales, profit, and performance goals.
• Attract, hire, and develop talent; build internal bench strength and succession plans.
• Drive coaching, training, and development for continuous improvement and growth.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and well-presented store environment.
• Leverage store metrics to inform strategy and drive results.
