Job summary

Carter's Retail is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Humble, TX. You will be the first face of the brand for growing families, greeting parents and guiding them to baby essentials, school supplies, and more.

The role emphasizes welcoming leadership, inclusive team culture, and ongoing development to improve product knowledge and customer service. You will help manage daily operations, coach staff, and analyze sales performance to meet KPIs while delivering a positive omnichannel experience

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Proficient communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach others to achieve service standards and omnichannel experience.
• Analyze business performance and drive KPIs with the team.
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of store staff.
• Plan and report on tasks and financial results using company tools.
• Support merchandising standards, promotions, and product placement.
• Reduce loss through excellent customer service and operational controls.
