Job summary

Safelite is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Austin, TX to lead front line associates and oversee daily retail operations, including cash handling, inventory, safety, and store appearance.

You will motivate teams to deliver world-class customer service, resolve complaints, manage work orders and mobile routes, and train staff on installation procedures and equipment. A high school diploma or equivalent, 3–5 years in retail leadership, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, or 3–5 years of leadership experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• 1+ year of supervisory/leadership experience.
• 3–5 years in retail or service-center environments; automotive experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and web applications.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead associates to maximize productivity and service.
• Handle customer complaints and warranty issues with prompt resolutions.
• Manage work orders and route mobile jobs for timely delivery.
• Train associates on installation techniques and use of tools.
• Monitor inventory, productivity, and store cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulations.
