Lids Sports Group, a leading licensed sports retailer, seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, train staff, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will manage scheduling, oversee merchandise presentation, and ensure policy compliance while driving sales and a positive team culture.

The role emphasizes in-store leadership, customer-centric service, and collaboration with store leadership to meet KPIs and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling, customer issues, and when Store Manager is absent.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Discipline through verbal and written warnings when the Store Manager is not present.
• Foster a fun, productive environment aligned with company objectives.
• Schedule and staff the store, including coverage during peaks.
• Recruit and train store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safeguarding inventory and assets.
• Support in inventory counts and store readiness for audits.
