Job summary

2nd & Charles is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead store operations, coach the team, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will own the buy-sell-trade flow and partner with the General Manager to drive results across the sales floor, buy counter, and interactions with customers.

The role emphasizes ownership of daily operations, people development, and maintaining merchandising standards while ensuring a welcoming community presence in the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred college degree in business or related field.
• Experience in supervisor role is required.
• Strong decision-making and merchandising skills.
• Ability to supervise a large team of associates.
• Background screenings required.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and drive customer experience in line with policies.
• Partner with management to set expectations and drive sales results.
• Create a safe, welcoming environment for associates and customers.
• Recruit, develop, and retain talent; grow future store leaders.
• Schedule staffing and manage daily agendas to meet business needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
