Job summary

2nd and Charles is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily store operations in Plano, TX, partnering with the management team to maximize sales and customer service. This role focuses on training staff, executing policies, and driving store performance.

You will oversee scheduling, budgeting, and integrity of loss prevention while ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for customers. The position requires availability for varied shifts and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
• Previous supervisor experience.
• Able to supervise a large number of associates.
• Strong decision-making, communication, and merchandising skills.
• Successful completion of all required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Maximizes profits and customer service by leading store operations and the management team.
• Operates the store as Manager On Duty in conjunction with the management team.
• Maintains store security as a key-holding member of management.
• Handles customer complaints to a satisfactory conclusion.
• Maintains merchandising, cleanliness and operational efficiency.
• Assists General Manager with interviewing, hiring and onboarding new talent.
• Trains and develops associates and leads.
