The Children’s Place in Mount Hope, WV is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team with cash-wrap operations, opening/closing procedures, and acting as Leader on Duty (LOD). The role represents the brand, delivers professional service, engages customers, and upholds store standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of retail experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a proven ability to develop talent, communicate effectively, and maintain strong organizational skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through coaching.
• Partner with Store Manager on performance concerns.
• Participate in training and development initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment with timely feedback.
• Motivate associates to build brand loyalty.
• Model exceptional customer service on the sales floor.
• Represent the company professionally.
• Support management to maximize productivity through operations and product knowledge.
• Participate in Leader on Duty (LOD) to drive store profitability.
• Process payroll weekly.
• Modify schedules based on business needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom.
• Ensure CRE Standards & Safety requirements are met.
