Job summary

The Children’s Place in Sunbury, OH is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team by handling cash-wrap operations, opening/closing procedures, and acting as Leader on Duty (LOD). You will model brand standards, engage customers, and develop a high-performing team.

You will collaborate with the Store Manager to coach associates, manage schedules, drive store profitability through supervision, and ensure a safe, organized sales floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years previous retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through the training of associates, including giving in-the-moment coaching conversations.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide direct, objective feedback in a timely manner.
• Represent the company in a professional and positive manner.
• Process payroll weekly and assist with schedule modifications based on business needs.
• Support and participate in training and development initiatives.
• Maintain store standards and contribute to store profitability by optimizing operations.
