Job summary

The Children's Place in Mebane, NC is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team through cash-wrap operations, opening/closing tasks, and serving as Leader on Duty. You will represent the brand, engage customers, uphold store standards, and help develop the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent customer engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through associate training and coaching.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns.
• Support company training and development initiatives.
• Maintain a positive work environment and timely feedback.
• Provide daily and annual performance feedback.
• Motivate associates to build brand loyalty and service.
• Model exceptional customer service and uphold brand standards.
• Support store productivity through operations and product knowledge.
• Participate in Leader on Duty by driving profitability and payroll.
• Process payroll weekly and adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized stockroom and ensure CRE standards.
