Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock and rotate merchandise, and support store operations under the Store Manager’s direction.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing payments, stocking plans, and helping with planograms. This role also covers duties in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and presentation guides.
• Ability to perform basic math and cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide superior service leadership.
• Operate cash register, process payments, bag items, and assist customers.
• Stock merchandise, rotate displays, and implement planograms.
• Keep store clean and organized, including restroom and stockroom.
• Open and close store under Store Manager guidance.
• Perform duties in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
