Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock displays, and help in planogram implementation while supporting store profitability and assets protection.

You may perform duties of a Sales Associate and act as a lead when the Store Manager or Assistant Manager is absent, with additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience or related training preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and process payments, give change.
• Receive, unpack, stock merchandise; build displays.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize planograms.
• Open/close store under Store Manager direction.
• Perform duties in absence of Store Manager/Assistant Manager.
