Job summary

The Salvation Army ARC Family Store in California is seeking a part-time Lead Sales Associate to provide outstanding service and keep the shop orderly to support our rehabilitation programs.

You will team with the Store Manager on daily operations, including opening/closing, POS, inventory, donations, and staff scheduling, while coaching employees to meet sales goals and safety standards. Strong community relations are encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a minimum of one-year previous retail experience and Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers and donor.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sales provides customers with the best selection, exceptional service and well-organized stores to support rehabilitation programs.
• Partner with Store Manager in daily store operations including opening/closing, POS, inventory, donations.
• Assists Store Manager to monitor and analyze KPIs to drive sales and profitability as budgets and goals set.
• Schedule Store Employees to ensure coverage, coach and develop staff, and manage Time & Attendance.
• Ensure high levels of Customer and Donor satisfaction and maintain community relations.
• Protect store currency, inventory and property, including deposits, security and safety procedures.
