Job summary

The Salvation Army Huntington Beach store is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with the Store Manager in daily operations, drive donations, and ensure excellent customer and donor service within the ARC program. This role includes supervision of staff, cash handling, and meeting daily processing goals in a community-focused retail environment.

You will contribute to merchandising standards, POS operations, and communication with management while supporting program beneficiaries when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year retail experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in daily store operations including opening/closing, POS, inventory, merchandising and donations.
• Supervise store employees in absence of Store/Assistant Manager; coordinate workload and shift changes.
• Monitor KPIs to drive store sales and profitability according to budget and goals.
• Schedule staffing to ensure appropriate coverage and conduct weekly team meetings.
• Ensure customer and donor satisfaction and maintain positive community relations.
• Support Back Room Processing and supervise program beneficiaries when assigned.
• Maintain cash handling security and building safety in accordance with ARC policy.
