Job summary

The Children's Place in Hanford, CA is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team by managing cash-wrap, opening/closing procedures, and acting as Leader on Duty (LOD).

You will represent the brand, engage customers, maintain store standards, and drive profitability through effective coaching, scheduling, and payroll processing.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years retail experience, a high school diploma, excellent communication, and a passion for teamwork and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through coaching conversations.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns.
• Support and participate in company training and development initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide timely feedback.
• Assess performance and provide feedback during reviews.
• Motivate and inspire associates to build brand loyalty.
• Model exceptional customer service on the sales floor.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Support management to maximize productivity through operations and product knowledge.
• Participate in Leader on Duty (LOD) to enhance customer experience and drive store profitability.
• Process payroll weekly and assist with scheduling.
