Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Utah team. You’ll lead with energy and ownership, support the Store Manager, and drive sales while coaching teammates to deliver an exceptional customer experience on the floor.

You’ll coach, supervise, and ensure execution of store standards with a focus on customer engagement, operations, and teamwork. This role requires flexibility in hours with a dynamic retail environment in West Valley City.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy, ownership, and solutions for customer interactions.
• Coach the team to deliver great service, share product knowledge, and excite customers to shop.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping close the loop with customers.
• Manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Maintain store organization, customer readiness, and smooth operations while following SOPs.
