Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead with energy, ownership, and purpose. This role supports the Store Manager in driving sales, coaching the team, and keeping the store running strong day-to-day.

You will be on the floor, set the tone, and deliver a great customer experience with a focus on coaching, operations, and teamwork. The position offers growth opportunities within a world-class sports retailer.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key-holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and solutions to customer interactions.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and keep customers excited to shop.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping the team close the loop with customers.
• Manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Leverage retail technology to enhance the customer experience and store operations.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled and support hiring, onboarding, and training.
