Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead with energy, ownership, and purpose. You will support the Store Manager by driving sales, coaching the team, and ensuring a strong store operation.

You’ll stay connected to customers and teammates, delivering a memorable shopping experience with an “Always on, Never no” mindset. Responsibilities include on-floor leadership, coaching, and ensuring execution of store standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holder role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.
• Preferred: experience as Key Holder, Supervisor, or Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the sales floor with energy and solutions during every customer interaction.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and share product knowledge.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and closing the loop with customers.
• Help manage daily store operations including opening/closing and cash handling.
• Maintain store organization, safety, and adherence to SOPs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled and support hiring and training.
