Job summary

The Children's Place in Reno, NV is seeking a part-time Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team. You will manage cash-wrap, opening/closing procedures, and act as Leader on Duty, representing the brand with professional conduct and strong customer focus.

You will coach and develop associates, participate in training initiatives, and help maintain store standards and safety. This role requires 1-3 years retail experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through the training of associates, including coaching conversations.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns with associates.
• Support and participate in all company training and development initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide direct, objective feedback in a timely manner.
• Motivate and inspire associates to build brand loyalty and deliver excellent customer service.
• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service on the sales floor while upholding brand standards.
• Support management to maximize productivity through operations, product knowledge, customer service and key initiatives.
• Participate in Leader on Duty (LOD) program by delivering an outstanding shopping experience and driving store profitability through payroll considerations.
• Process payroll weekly and adjust schedules based on business needs.
• Help maintain a clean, organized stockroom with adherence to policies.
• Ensure CRE Environment Standards & Safety compliance.
