Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Tampa to drive sales, lead a team, and deliver outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will oversee daily store operations, training, scheduling, and performance, ensuring adherence to policies and brand standards while contributing to a welcoming, inclusive team culture. This role offers opportunities for professional growth within a market-leading retailer.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and follow up.
• Administer discipline with verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members to create a fun and productive environment and align with company objectives.
• Recruit and train store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Lead selling strategy to achieve KPIs and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Adhere to visual merchandising guidelines and keep store clean and organized.
• Maintain cash handling accuracy, opening/closing tills, and safe procedures.
• Prepare store for inventory audits and support inventory accuracy.
