Job summary

Dollar General Lead Sales Associate role in United States involves maintaining a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus and assisting customers with locating and purchasing merchandise. You will operate the cash register, stock and recover merchandise, and support store leadership in driving profitability and customer satisfaction.

The position includes performing duties of a Sales Associate and stepping into a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred with supervisory experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read planograms and follow merchandise presentation guides.
• Strong numerical and basic math skills for transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions.
• Stock merchandise, build displays and restock shelves.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize displays.
• Open/close store under manager's direction.
• Assist in implementing planograms.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
