Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, customer-first store and to lead in the absence of the Store Manager. The role includes assisting customers, handling cash, stocking merchandise, and ensuring store standards are met.

The Lead Sales Associate will perform duties of a Sales Associate and lead in supervision when managers are away, focusing on profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Able to operate a cash register and understand cash handling procedures.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service and greet customers.
• Operate cash register, scan items, take payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock, rotate merchandise, and set up store displays per planograms.
• Keep store clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff.
• Open/close store under direction of Store Manager and assist as needed.
