Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northeast Iowa, Inc. in Toledo, IA is seeking a Full-Time Store Associate to manage daily store operations and donations flow. You will supervise tasks, handle donations, stock merchandise, and deliver excellent customer service.

You will also participate in safety checks, assist with store maintenance, and support management with various duties as needed. A flexible schedule including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred; 2 years military service/high school/related full-time employment may substitute.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to direct, assign, and delegate daily job tasks to Team Members.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds with assistance.
• Willingness to obtain a forklift license.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Directs and assigns daily tasks to Sales Associates and Utility workers.
• Exercise independent judgment in daily operations.
• Greet customers and ensure excellent service and experience.
• Sort and grade donations and shipments to keep shelves stocked with quality merchandise.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions efficiently.
• Identify merchandise for online sales and prepare for listing.
