Safeway is seeking a Person In Charge (PIC) to serve as primary contact for customers and to oversee store operations during the absence of the Store Manager and assistants. You will supervise employees, assist cashiers, and ensure a high level of customer service and store efficiency.

The role involves operating the register, handling payments and change, stocking shelves, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Night shifts and multi-department support may be required.

Responsabilités

• Act as primary contact for Safeway customers and provide friendly service.
• Oversee store operations during Manager absence with authority to maximize profit and efficiency.
• Supervise store personnel, assist cashiers and handle basic office tasks.
• Operate the cash register, total customer orders, and provide change accurately.
• Assist in stocking, facing products, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.
• Handle emergencies, customer complaints, and supervise staff as needed.
