Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Greenville, NC seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift leadership in their absence.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, be able to obtain RSS certification, and may bring automotive know-how, ASE credentials, and bilingual abilities (Spanish highly desired).

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels in the retail showroom and execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds using correct payment methods; stage returned merchandise.
• Invoice merchandise before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff clock in/out and follow posted work schedule.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, deposits, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
