Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Louisville team to support store operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will help lead team development and ensure daily activities run smoothly.

Responsibilities include assisting with store functions, organizing merchandise, opening and closing procedures, maintaining displays, and safeguarding assets while upholding company policies and a safe work environment. This role offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and handle physical tasks of a store environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record-keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits).
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom per company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and waste management.
• Other duties as assigned.
