Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is well-organized and displays are maintained.

In this role, you’ll participate in opening/closing procedures, supervise associates, and uphold safety and policy compliance while maintaining a positive environment for customers and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and interpret directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize, transfer merchandise from truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling activities.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Protect company assets and follow loss prevention procedures.
• Help supervise and develop store associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
