Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Louisville, KY location. You will assist with daily store activities, merchandise flow, and staff supervision to ensure a positive customer experience.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and a track record in a high-energy retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process corporate directives related to store activities
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention duties
• Maintain well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards
• Protect and secure store assets including cash
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff compliance
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment
• Ensure store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, waste, and neat presentation
• Other duties as assigned
