Job summary

CubeSmart is seeking a Store Operations Associate who will manage stores within the district, delivering strong customer service and reliable property maintenance. You’ll build customer relationships, meet sales goals, and handle leasing and payments using our POS system.

The role emphasizes a safe, clean facility and frequent collaboration with teammates. You’ll be expected to perform physical duties and work Saturdays in a friendly, growth‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills including MS office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Physical tasks include daily walks of the property, cleaning units and grounds, opening/closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs.), mopping, sweeping, and keeping facilities tidy.
