Job summary

Dollar Tree in Ravenna, OH seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help with opening/closing, merchandise flow from delivery to sales floor, and maintaining seasonal areas to company standards.

You will assist in payroll/scheduling, loss prevention, and keeping fixtures and displays effective, while promoting a positive, safe environment for customers and associates. This is a part-time role with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail/grocery preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions/concerns.
• Help organize merchandise flow from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening/closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, record-keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits).
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies, safety guidelines, and procedures by staff.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Ensure cleanliness of store and restrooms, organize floors, take out trash.
