Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Reynoldsburg, Ohio is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run store operations, support customer service, and develop team members.

You will assist with merchandising, opening and closing procedures, scheduling, and loss prevention while maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming store environments. This part-time leadership role offers hands-on experience and growth within our retail team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drugstore preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks regularly.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards
• Protect and secure all store assets, including cash
• Assist Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates
• Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for customers and staff
