Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. The role involves assisting customers, operating a cash register, stocking and recovering merchandise, and supporting store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager.

Responsibilities include providing superior service, managing cashier tasks, stocking, and maintaining planograms and displays in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read planograms and follow merchandising guides.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate cash register and handle cash transactions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and occasional 55 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner; total purchases, collect payment, and bag items.
• Stock and rotate merchandise; build displays; follow planograms.
• Clean store; take out trash; maintain restrooms and backroom areas.
• Open and close the store under supervision; support Store Manager in their absence.
