Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. Under the Store Manager's direction, you will supervise staff, manage merchandising, handle deposits, and support profitability while protecting assets.

Responsibilities include leading customer service, opening/closing duties, staff scheduling and training, stock rotation, inventory control, planograms, and cash control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers, and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, providing training, and safety meetings.
• Manage merchandise including receiving, stocking, and displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, and paperwork.
• Assist with planogram implementation and merchandise presentation.
• Ensure cash handling integrity and deposits.
• Assist with store management in the Store Manager's absence.
