Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker with lead capacity. You will unload trucks, stock and rotate merchandise, operate the register, and provide exemplary customer service. In the absence of store leadership, you may authorize refunds and oversee cashier controls.

Responsibilities include maintaining plan-o-grams, shelving, cleaning, and ensuring a safe, organized store environment while protecting company assets and reducing losses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and cash handling.
• Knowledge of plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, rotate and face shelves.
• Operate cash register, collect payment, bag items, and provide customer service.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist in plan-o-grams and displays.
• In absence of Store Manager, authorize refunds and oversee cashier controls.
