Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker who can step into a lead role when the Store Manager or Assistant Manager is unavailable, assist in plan-o-gram setup, and provide exceptional customer service. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, handle the register, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications

• Must handle cash and make change.
• Able to operate IBM cash register functions.
• Must read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and unpack cartons/totes per store process.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise; build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise and manage zone orders.
• Assist customers in locating items and provide exemplary service.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of front end, stockroom, and restrooms; run register and bag merchandise.
