Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Lead Team Member to help maintain a clean, organized store and foster a customer-first culture. You will assist customers, operate registers, stock merchandise, and support the Store Team Leader in daily operations.

Responsibilities include demonstrating product knowledge, driving sales through strong service, and ensuring safety and compliance across the store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service to exceed the customer's expectations.
• Operates cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases.
• Stock and recover merchandise and maintain a clean, organized store.
• Assist customers in locating products and guiding self-checkout at multiple terminals.
• Lead in the absence of the Store Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader.
• Follow store policies and ensure safety and loss-prevention standards.
