Job summary

Dollar General is hiring a Lead Team Member to help maintain a clean, customer-first store. You will assist customers, operate the register, stock and recover merchandise, and uphold safety and store standards.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, support the Store Team Leader, and perform other duties to maximize profitability while protecting assets. Prior experience in retail is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service skills and professional communication.
• Ability to follow safety policies and store procedures.
• Basic math, cashier functions, and planogram adherence.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate a cash register, process payments and give correct change.
• Keep store clean, stocked, and organized; restock and display products attractively.
• Assist in merchandising under guidelines and maintain inventory flow.
• Open/close the store as directed by leadership and support team as needed.
