Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a part-time Key Holder to engage with customers, lead store partners and support sales goals with product knowledge and detailed merchandising. The role emphasizes service, leadership and POS proficiency in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Holders will collaborate with the leadership team, drive sales, manage routines and uphold company standards while maintaining high attendance and appearance. Boots Barn values community and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Demonstrates leadership, communication, time management and organization skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Become an expert in product categories; communicate product knowledge to the customer.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals, including UPT, ADT, add-ons and customer info capture.
• Be informed of current promotions and advertisements.
• Maintain merchandising standards and assist in floor moves, display, setup and housekeeping.
• Assist with processing merchandise and replenishing floor stock.
• Complete all sales transactions accurately and manage cash and media at POS.
• Seek ways to develop skills and improve metrics with store leadership.
• Complete opening/closing procedures per standards and Time & Attendance policy.
• Adhere to laws, policies and practices; perform other duties as assigned.
