Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Part-time Key Holder to engage customers, drive sales, and support store leadership. You will act as a product knowledge expert, assist with merchandising, and ensure smooth POS transactions. The role emphasizes teamwork, service excellence, and adherence to company policies.

You will contribute to sales goals, participate in training, and help maintain a positive store environment that reflects Boot Barn’s values and community focus.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, time management and organization skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed expectations to build customer relationships.
• Become an expert in product categories; communicate features and benefits to customers.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals (UPT, ADT, add-ons, data capture).
• Be informed on promotions and advertisements; execute merchandising standards.
• Assist floor moves, displays, merchandising, sales setup and housekeeping.
• Assist with processing merchandise and replenishing floor stock.
• Complete all sales transactions accurately and manage cash at POS.
• Develop skills and improve metrics with store leadership.
• Complete opening/closing procedures and comply with Time & Attendance policies.
• Adhere to all laws and company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
