Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Part-time Key Holder to deliver an outstanding in-store experience. You will lead by example, assist with sales targets, and help the leadership team drive store performance while upholding brand standards and exceptional customer service.

You will gain knowledge across product categories, support merchandising, and handle daily POS operations. This role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and a commitment to Boot Barn’s community values.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, time management and organization skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Become an expert in product categories; communicate product knowledge to customers.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals (UPT, ADT, add-ons) and capture customer information.
• Maintain merchandising standards and assist with floor moves, displays, sales setup, and housekeeping.
• Process merchandise and monitor/replenish floor stock.
• Complete all sales transactions accurately at POS and manage cash/media responsibly.
• Develop skills and improve metrics by partnering with store leadership.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and comply with Time and Attendance policies.
• Adhere to local, state and company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
