Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a part-time Key Holder to lead customer service and sales efforts in a fast-paced store environment. You will partner with the leadership team to drive sales, deepen product knowledge, and ensure smooth daily operations.

This role emphasizes teamwork, customer engagement, and adherence to company policies. Responsibilities include promoting a service-driven culture, tracking performance metrics, executing merchandising plans, and handling opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, time management and organization skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed expectations to build customer relationships.
• Become an expert in product categories; communicate knowledge to customers.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals (UPT, ADT, add-ons, data capture).
• Be informed of current promotions and advertisements.
• Maintain merchandising standards and assist with floor moves and store upkeep.
• Process merchandise and monitor floor stock; complete sales transactions at POS.
• Capture customer information and support store leadership in development efforts.
• Open/close procedures and comply with Time & Attendance policy.
