Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker who can assume lead responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. You will assist in plan-o-gram implementation, stock displays, and provide exemplary customer service while protecting company assets.

The role includes unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, operating the register, and ensuring a clean, safe store environment. Prior supervisory experience is preferred. Full-time opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and follow prescribed receiving processes.
• Stock merchandise and rotate faces; build displays.
• Restock returned and recovered merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment.
• Greet customers entering the store; provide customer service.
• Maintain clean front end and store; ensure safe environment.
• Open and/or close the store under direction of Area Manager.
• Authorize refunds/overrides in the absence of store management; maintain cashier accountability.
