Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Key Carrier to support store operations and lead as needed. This role emphasizes outstanding customer service, coaching of Associates, and adherence to store procedures.

Key Carriers balance responsibilities between Coordinator tasks and leadership activities, with open availability including nights and weekends, to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive shopping experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Team player with peers and supervisors.
• Respond well to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures.
• Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure.
• Ensures store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed.
• Addresses immediate customer service issues and provides coaching to Associates.
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs; supports shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
