Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Store HR Representative in Indianapolis to provide HR support to store leadership, coach teams, and drive engagement through onboarding and development initiatives. The role partners with regional HR to champion HR goals and ensure policy compliance.

The successful candidate will manage staffing, training, and employee relations activities while maintaining strong communication with leadership and team members across the store.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalency required; Associate Degree or above in Human Resources preferred.
• Ability to present thought leadership and leadership presence.
• Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for group settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist staffing, interview and selection for store roles and manage applications.
• Oversee onboarding and training to drive engagement and retention.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, coaching and policy interpretation.
• Support talent management, performance, and development initiatives.
• Generate reports and track progress on development plans and training completion.
• Collaborate with HR Market Manager on employee relations and escalation handling.
• Support payroll, compensation and benefits administration as needed.
