Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Store HR Representative to partner with store leadership on staffing, onboarding, training, and employee relations across Michigan locations. You will support engagement, development, and policy implementation while ensuring effective communication with teams.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with Associate degree in HR preferred. Strong leadership, organization, and confidentiality are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher not required; HR knowledge and people skills emphasized.
• Ability to lead discussions, present ideas, and facilitate groups.
• Strong written and spoken communication; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, interviewing and selecting for store roles and managing applications.
• Oversee orientation, onboarding, and training to drive engagement and retention.
• Guide leadership on career development resources and talent management processes.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, policy adherence, and resolution of disputes.
• Support HR market managers on projects and ad hoc duties.
