Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Store HR Representative to support store leadership with staffing, onboarding, training and employee relations. The role partners with the regional HR team to drive HR goals and implement programs tied to retention, development and total rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR-related field preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead, coach and influence at multiple levels
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience with employee relations and onboarding processes
• Wamiliarity with HR policies, payroll, and compensation practices

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support to store leadership including staffing and workforce planning
• Oversee orientation, onboarding and training to drive engagement
• Coach leadership on talent development and retention strategies
• Ensure effective communication with team members and leadership
• Support talent management, development plans and performance processes
• Guide leadership on employee relations and policy adherence
• Contribute to HR projects as needed
