Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Representative to support staffing, onboarding and team development in a dynamic retail environment.

This onsite role partners with store leadership and the regional HR team to drive engagement, address employee relations, and uphold HR policies. You will assist with interviews, staff orientation, and training, while providing guidance on career development and performance management.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience as HR Generalist, Sr. Generalist, HR Manager or equivalent.
• 2 years experience in Employee Relations and Investigations.
• 2 years experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist staffing, interview and selection for store roles and manage applications.
• Oversee onboarding and training to drive engagement and retention.
• Champion engagement through HR initiatives and ensure effective communication to all team members.
