Meijer is seeking an HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support for Supply Chain manufacturing and distribution facilities in Michigan. You will recruit and screen candidates, facilitate onboarding, and partner with hiring managers to align with business objectives.

The role is 100% on-site, with emphasis on employee relations, training, and policy interpretation. You will manage the full cycle of recruitment, coordinate pre-employment screening, and monitor metrics related to hiring,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field is required.
• PHR or SPHR certification is desirable.
• 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience in a support role required.
• Minimum 2 years' Experience using Workday in HR.
• Strong interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general HR support for Supply Chain facilities and teams.
• Recruit, interview, and screen hourly and salaried candidates; coordinate onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to meet business objectives and candidate requirements.
• Maintain job profiles, compliance with EEO/ADA, and pre-employment screenings.
• Develop and monitor recruiting, onboarding, and turnover metrics; track headcount.
• Coach leaders on employee relations and performance management processes.
• Assist with HR projects and provide guidance on policies and benefits.
